Luman Building Group was founded by Michael and Ivan with a shared commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and uncompromising quality. Together, they bring decades of hands-on construction experience and a passion for creating homes that reflect each client's unique vision and lifestyle.
With more than 39 years of experience in the construction industry, Michael's passion for building began at an early age while observing his family's real estate development business. As a teenager, he apprenticed as a residential framer before establishing his own remodeling and repair business. He later earned a degree in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
After completing his degree and building his own home, Michael obtained his California General Contractor's License. He expanded from kitchen and bathroom renovations into whole-home remodels and large-scale residential construction, later serving as a Superintendent and Project Manager for respected builders throughout Southern California.
Michael met Ivan while collaborating on a custom residence in Beverly Hills. Ivan's passion for construction began while working alongside his father in the family carpentry business. After earning his degree from California State University, Northridge, Ivan founded a high-end custom cabinetry company and developed a reputation for exceptional millwork, precision, and uncompromising quality.
